Stop Gov. McAuliffe's Move to Disarm Citizens

I find it interesting, but also very disturbing, that the "leaders" who want to disarm citizens have their own lives protected by armed police and private security guards.  Aren't the lives of ordinary citizens equally important?  This is a typical "do as I say, not as I do" scenario.  When the President and our Governor fire their armed protection, let me know.  It is arrogant and disrespectful of a person's right to protect his or her life to proclaim that those who have state approved concealed carry permits can no longer carry in state buildings.  How many crimes have these law abiding people committed in public buildings?  Basically the criminals are being given the green light  to know which places to shoot up where law abiding citizens who respect the rule of law will no longer be able to shoot back!  These are buildings built by "we the taxpayers" and they do not belong to any one individual.  I imagine the Governor sees "gun control" as a great issue to garner votes, but the people are waking up and are much smarter than the Governor gives them credit for being.  It is simple common sense that in these times we cannot depend upon our police to protect us everywhere.  People must take responsibility for their own lives.  One good person with a gun could prevent a blood bath.  The goal should be protecting lives.
