Senseless Anti-Gun Activisim

Creating more gun-free zones makes no sense and the Governors' use of  executive orders to bypass the due process of proper legislation is unconscionable.  Politicizing shooting incidents to make a case for tougher gun control is nothing more then another infringement attempt of the inalienable rights of the citizens of Virginia.

When are elected officials, or anyone opposed to guns, going to figure out that criminals, gangs, mentally ill, murders, and terrorist are only going to carry guns in places where they are legally allowed to carry them.  It's nonsense to think otherwise!  These people specifically pick gun-free environments to unleash the greatest amount of death and destruction before they themselves commit suicide or are stopped by law enforcement.

The facts are that over half of public mass shootings have not exploded as claimed by the biased media and  anti-gun activist, over half of the these shooters were known to have suffered mental illness prior to an attack, and they carefully planned to carry out these attacks in places where  civilians are not allowed to defend themselves.

Basing policy on anti-gun activist data, data that is flawed, fails to identify shooter's illnesses, age, or whether the attacks occurred in gun-free zones is reckless and will have dire consequences for Virginians.

The Government does not grant rights to the people, it protects those rights.  We already have those rights.  However, the Government continues to pass more and more laws that restrict freedoms while claiming it has an “important government interest” in doing so.  Criminals, terrorist, and the mentally disturbed don’t care about laws or gun control.
