Why would a law be passed that would deny law  abiding  citizens the right to self defense? Throughout history time and time again any government that denied  these rights from its citizens , was a prelude to a  total loss of  freedom of speech, freedom of religion and other basic natural rights, no good can come of denying citizens of their right to self defense
