A Danger to the Safety of the Public and Suppression of My Freedom

As an active duty military member I have enjoyed living in a state that upheld personal and consitutional freedoms as adametely as my home state of Texas.  To the point that as I near retirement, I have been seriously considering staying in this great state.  However, as my home state has been expanding our freedom to protect our family, our community, and ourselves with passing of open carry laws; Virgnia is infringing on freedoms we have expanded and I have enjoyed for the 14 years I have lived here.  Not only do I view the restrictions of law abiding citizens and their ability to defend their life, liberty, and their persuit of happiness as a danger to our safety; I also see it as being incompatible with my desires for a "home state" to raise my family after retiring from military service.  Not only are you taking away my freedoms, but you risk losing a future Virginia resident.
