Stupid idea, counter productive, CHP holders are the good people you want armed in public!

This policy is foolish and counter productive.  The point of issuing permits is that the holders of such are certified 'good guys/gals'.  We are armed for the defence of ourselves and possibly others in the face of criminal mayhem.  More of us, in more places, is better for society as a whole.

Crime statistics support this.  CHP holders are, per capita, less likely to engage in crime, especially violent crime, than even the police.  Chew on that for a moment.

This regulation should not be approved and the emergency regulation withdrawn.
