As an ordinary citizen I shop at malls and travel the Interstates. Parking lots and rest areas are dangerous places at any time, and to be unable to arm myself and defend myself is crazy. There aren't enough security or police personnel to protect all Virginians.And we can do it ourselves if allowed to.Banning our guns is not the answer, criminals are the problem. And they will get guns no matter what you do. The governor has no authority to ban guns. In emergencies we need our own guns for defense of life and property.Please extend the comment period so more people will learn of this regulation and have time to respond.
