Dangerous proposal which disarms law-abiding citizens

Disarming the citizens of Virginia while they condut business with the Commonwealth and creating another plethora of "gun-free zones" only serves to provide MORE targets for terrorists and mass shooters. All but two of the public massacres since 1950 had been committed by criminals and terrorists in “gun-free zones,” This proposal endangers state employees, and other innocents, giving criminals a free pass  to conduct evil with little to no resistance.

Seeing as even off-duty police officers are also included in the ban, this further reduces the possibility of others to stop any massacre someone could attempt. Eliminating the chance of an armed public in these spaces also increases the cost of providing additional security.

This regulations should not be approved and the emergency regulation withdrawn.
