Given recent shooting events around the country, I undertand the desire to "do something" about it. However, striping law-abiding citizens of their Constitutional right to bear arms, as well as their Natural right to defend themselves from those seeking to harm them, is not the proper course of action. Every statistic available shows that gun-free zones disarm good people, and allow those who do not respect the law to commit attrocites without fear of immediate retalliation by the innocent. Please do not allow this to continue. This course of action is absolutely the wrong way to go about creating change.
