That regulation like this is being proposed at this point in time shows nothing but the push of a tone-deaf agenda. To my knowledge, there has been no inherent danger posed by lawful carry in state buildings to date. A ban would make people within these buildings, ultimately, less safe. Consider that the vast majority of mass shootings in the United States have been in places that prohibit firearms. Disarming people at the door only serves to take protection away from the willing and make easier targets for someone whose will is harm to others.
