This regulation is unconstitutional and endangers the public

This regulation will not enhance public safety. In actuality, it will do worse than nothing, it will endanger the public. Someone who intends to do harm to others is NOT stopped by a regulation. If they are planning to assault, rob, or even murder...besides being morally wrong, all already against the law...I can't seriously entertain the thought that they will decide to change their plans because they might get into additional trouble for breaking a "no guns allowed" rule. That is a ludicrous idea. However, the general public WILL abide by this regulation...and will be left without one of the best means with which to defend themselves from an attacker. Thus you are diminishing a citizen's self-defense capability while doing nothing to inhibit the abilities of an attacker. Please extend the comment period for another 30 days so the citizens of Virginia can provide their input regarding this regulation.
