Dear Sirs,

I am opposed to making optional the requirement for an applicant to affirmatively state that he or he is a U.S. citizen, has not been convicted of a felony, and has not found mentally incompetent. Making these affirmations optional, would render them meaningless and invite voter fraud. Why wouldn't these be mandatory?
