Abortion Clinic regulations should stay

The current abortion clinic regulations are needed and were well-crafted by the Dept of Health and the Board of Health.  Please do NOT revise or weaken them. They cover the over 20,000 abortion procedures performed in VA each year. Politics should not play into safe medical protocol for our citizens. People natually expect emergency equipment on site with trained personnel on site during procedures and recovery for all patients, safe sanitary conditions of equipment, needles, tables, controlled substances to be administered & handled correctly, etc.  The serious findings of the Inspections show a strong need for these regulations.  That should definitely factor into the decision of the Board.  If there were no violations found, the state could rest assured that the abortion industry was well-trained and self-regulating.  The hundreds of findings show otherwise.   Women deserve better, and I ask you to hold the regulations as written.
