Forcing women's health care centers to meet the same standards as certain types of hospitals has nothing to do with practicing good medicine or protecting patient safety.  As a registered nurse who spent years working in the area of women's health care, I am totally disheartened that a group of state legislators who know NOTHING about the medical or personal realities of women seeking care, are trying to control that care.  This needs to stop.
