I strongly support the current regulations on abortion centers approved by the Board of Health in Virginia. These regulations should be made permanent and continue to include the strongest standards.
Abortion ends lives rather than healing them; it is not health care. The existence of the abortion industry under the guise of health care is a tragic reality in Virginia and throughout our country. The current regulations are reasonable and common-sense mearures. They will ensure the presence of life saving equipment. They will also prevent infections. Written policies which are clear are needed. Strong and permanent abortion facility regulations are the least we can do to protect the health of those women who decide on this procedure.
Thi abortion industry has demonstrated by their actions and their testony that they are not trustworthy. They must be forced by regulation and law if they are to promote standards of cleanliness and safety. They are not capable of self regulation.
