I am opposed to an uncertified, unqualified dental assistant performing the tasks that an educated, certified, Dental Hygienist must go through to perform these duties.  As a patient, I am paying for a certified, qualified Dental Hygienist to perform these duties and would be upset if a Dentist had a Dental Assistant doing this work.  I would look for another Dental Office if this legislation passes.
