Pet Store regulations

I live in Alexandrida and I vote. I support many of the proposed changes to pet store regulations but I would like to see even TOUGHER laws. In addition to civil penalties, there should be CRIMINAL penalties for per store owners and employees that do not take proper care of animals. Many pet stores use drip tubes for water but cats and dogs cannot drink water that way. They need bowls to lap with their tongues. All pet stores should have regular visits from licensed veterinarians who check the animals for proper nourishment, hydration, illness and well being. Dogs should have play time out of cages. Anything less is monstrous.
