Unnecessary Enforcement of Law

Most professional engineers are engaged in a progressive career path that by its very nature enables the acquistion of additional technical and managerial skill sets over the course of their career.   To conform to additional legal mandates that parallels one professional growth is a financial and personnel burden that derives no tangible benefit.

Where are the metrics that prove that 16 credits of mandated formal education over two years manifest in a better PE than those that attain additional experience and skill sets through the execution of their profession?
