Required reading in lieu of classes makes more sense

Required reading in lieu of required classes makes more sense.  Instead of sitting in a class to meet a requirement, renewal should include a required review of the significant problems identified in board proceeding to make each person aware of the issues that are challenging the profession.  This review could be documented on the renewal form.   While these items are available from the on-line meeting notes, there is no requirement to review them.   The board could identify the items/issues that need to be reviewed (from Virginia or other states)  and update the items as needed.

The addition of required classes and maintaining records for the classes is a burden that has little benefit as noted in the economic review of this item.  Providing a focused review of issues that impacted other license holders would be much more efficient and effective.
