It has been my experience in other states that continuing education for PE's is not worth the expense. Many times you are attending courses just to get your credits. The courses usually do not make you a better engineer. Engineers that are semi- retired, entry level incomes or on fixed incomes certainly do not need this expense.  This is a bad idea.
