I believe that the Covid Vaccine should not be Mandatory for anyone but especially not for our children. While i am not anti- vac i do believe this particular vaccine has not been around long enough or has had an opportunity for individuals to understand the long term side effects of this vaccine. I further believe that religious exemptions should most certainly be allowed as well as individuals and parents having a choice of what to inject into their bodies. The research surrounding the Covid vaccine has indicated that the vaccine does not kill the virus and a vaccinated person can still spread the disease just as much as an unvaccinated person. The only difference between vaccinnated and unvaccinated is the severity of symptons FOR SOME NOT ALL. The wearing of masks in the schools is sufficient and effective enough to help reduce the spread of Covid which makes Ms. Calleja's request for a Covid mandate in our children "irrational" All other immunizations that children receive currently took several years of research BEFORE approval. The Covid vaccine took approximately 6 months to a year which is why those that oppose are not the irrational ones in this situation. Also, Those that oppose this mandate are probably only in minority because the threat of loss of employment and livelyhood has been at the forefront of strongarming individuals to get the Covid vaccine.
