While I believe this idea of a mandate for children is based on good intentions it is severely flawed scientifically and politically.  The morbidity rates for children and COVID are infinitesimal.  Moreover the more mandates pushed on us as Americans the more the push back the medical community will receive to the point where very few will trust your advice.  This has already begun and will get worse.  Attempt to reason with people instead of bullying them.
