Continuing Education for Architects-Keep it simple

For Architects, keep it simple.  AIA members are already required to obtain 18 credits per year.  Recommend following those guidelines and schedules.  Allow the AIA transcript to serve as satisfactory evidence of completion of the number of credits required for the year.  Bottom line, if AIA accepts a program for a credit, that should be all that Virginia needs.  It is hard enough trying to manage licenses in multiple states, many of which have different requirements from Virginia and AIA.  Follow AIA, please keep it simple.
