My name is Tom Page and I am the General Manager of "Stonehouse", a 4,600 acre master-planned community in James City County, VA. My company and I are extremely concerned that the technical mandates in the proposed stormwater regulations will further increase our cost of development, making it even more difficult to deliver affordable/workforce housing to young professionals in JCC. JCC already has a serious problem with workforce housing and increased regulations that have no proven merit will only serve to worsen the problem. Not to mention, JCC environmental staff has made it known publicly that they oppose the proposed regulations. We urge you to vote NO on Part II of the proposed stormwater requirements and reconvene the Technical Advisory Committee (TAC).
Thank you for your consideration.
