New Runoff Rules for Chesapeake Bay: comments

For the "Appomattox River Trail" program, restrict the road building and heavy equipment used to deliver wood and materials to the streams and rivers. Require manual labor to use foot trails to deliver materials. Reinstate the vegetation. Post signs for non-readers advising that the fish are contaminated.
Buffer zones or vegetation restrict runoff into the Appomattox River. and thereby runoff into the Chesapeake Bay.
The Appomattox River Trail program is destroying our environment. Every probe made to access the Appomattox River destroys the buffer zones. Roads are built right down to the water to allow heavy equipment to deliver wood to the river to build bridges and piers. Building these roads destroys the vegetation including bushes and trees.

Thank you,
