As a Virginia resident I urge support of the storm water management amendments that will help maintain water quality in our state.   Please take the long-term view on issues such as this, as nature cannot be bullied into accepting anything less than devoted stewardship to our natural resources.  Yes, there are always financial and other concerns related to regulation, but we cannot take the short term view ... saving a few dollars here and there at the long term expense of our natural heritage.  Our waters are a treasure for current and future residents and I respectfully request that you take the necessary actions to help protect them for the long term.
