The wording of this regulation flies in the face of human rights, denying the individual the opportunity to seek out help in a way that best aligns with his or her beliefs or desires. The regulation puts the emphasis on the so-called good of the public, rather than on the rights and good of the patient seeking help.

I strongly disagree with this regulation and beg the governor, the appropriate regulatory departments and agencies, and all people of good will to reject this short-sighted and mis-directed regulation.
