Why deny Virginia citizens right to self-defense?

I do not want any more disarming of me or my family.  When people shoot at me, I want to be able to shoot back, in spades.  That is  how you hold the criminals accountable for their actions.  When they start taking hits, they will back down.  They only attack when they know people they're preying on, are unarmed.  Why make it easier for them?

Disarming good citizens (who are the only ones likely to obey the prohibition) does not make them safer.

This proposed regulation is a solution for which there is no problem.  It endangers state employees, law abiding citizens, and the innocent by making state buildings a safe zone for terrorists, criminals, and the criminally insane to conduct their evil and savage actions.

If the General Assembly wanted the Governor to have such power, they would have granted it to him explicitly, as is required constitutionally.  Why are you trying to get "around" the General Assembly and using this back door approach to restrict our gun RIGHTS?

This regulations should not be approved and the emergency regulation withdrawn.

Please extended the comment period for another 30 days.
