Parents as Caregivers

As a first responder for the Commonwealth of Virginia, I am against this newest proposal for Parents not to be caregivers. My daughter has a rare condition in which my wife is not able to work due to the constant Doctor appointments, physcial therapy appointments, and 24/7 monitoring of her condition. My wife knows her conditon better than most doctors after countless hours of research and can advocate what is best for her especially when most doctors have never heard of her condition. She provides the best quality healthcare to our child in which others will not. It would be near impossible for my wife to keep a job due to the restraints of my daughter's condition and appointments. Each month we average 12 to 25 appointments some being 45 minutes from our house. Please reconsider this proposal and keep things the way they are. Thank you for your consideration and time reading this.
