Description The regulation requires that owners or operators of fleets with 10 or more vehicles make a percentage of annual vehicle purchases clean-fuel fleet vehicles and establishes the geographic coverage of the program, emission standards for vehicles, credit requirements and certification requirements.

Goals of Regulation To protect public health and/or welfare with the least possible costs and intrusiveness to the citizens and businesses of the Commonwealth.

To reduce emissions from vehicles by establishing criteria and procedures for certain fleet owners to purchase a percentage of the total number of new covered fleet vehicles as clean-fuel vehicles.
