I think cuts requiring stitches and foreign objects lodged in eye, nose, ear or other body orifice need to be removed from this list. These are childhood injuries and should not be seen as a serious injury. These occurrences happen sometimes and we have children who put foreign objects like pea gravel, macaroni, sand and mulch in their eyes, mouth, nose & ears.
