Hello Please do not lessen Virginia standards/regulations for the safety of women seeking abortions in Virginia. It is my understanding that with revised rules the abortion providers will become more self regulating with minimal government oversight. They would be able to determine by themselves adherence to legal requirements such as emergency clinic access and strongly suggested FDA guidelines for both surgical and chemical abortions. Why limit or ignore clear procedures to keep women safe? Haven't recent events with abortion clinics both in Virginia and otehr states emphasized the necessity of sensible laws of protection? Under the law abortions can and will continue, but let's use good sense to make them safe. Thank you.
