Euthanasia only when absolutely necessary.

Euthanasia should be done as a last resort. Strays and owner releases should have a minimum time of a week or two before euthanized, to allow owners to find them or change their mind. Euthanizing of dangerous animals should be limited to those animals who have shown to be so aggressive and unpredictable that adoption as a household pet is not safe.
