Board of Health,
I write to you today to discuss a very sensitive topic. This is the issue of safety regulations at abortion facilities. It is well known that recent inspections have revealed gross and blatant health and safety violations including blood splattered exam tables and equipment, dirty needles, incomplete lifesaving equipment, violations of Virginia parental consent laws, an absence of reporting of possible cases of child abuse, and many more deficiencies. The abortion industry adamantly claims that their procedures are "safe", but 300 health and safety violations prove otherwise. It is an industry whose opinion cannot be trusted on any of the standards, including those involving construction.I urge you to impose these safety standards on abortion facilities. Abortion needs to be abolished. But in the meantime, it must be regulated. Christopher Lee
