I believe the practice of keeping shackles on female prisoners who are pregnant is an inhuman practice. The practice has been noted as one that threatens the health of the mother and child.I would like to think that our country has more compassion than allowing such cruel treatment. I would llike to see this policy/regulation struck down. Thank you for your consideration of my viewpoint.
