My son is a severe dyslexic not a traditional dyslexic and has been using a ortan gillingham approach with a tape facilitator and the program has no way of showing progress, we are asking the school for a research based program MTA or Take Flite, they denied Take Flite, but agreed to MTA this program shows progress in reading and spelling. Why is so difficult for the school to say if one program is not going over into the rest of the classroom, then we need to try something else. He can't even take it outside, it stays in his dyslexia class which is last period, and there is no one going around with him to teach him how to bring it over. Thank you, mother of a dyslexic and dyscalculia. Sandra
