I oppose the proposed regulation

This regulation is a politial attempt to fix a problem that does not exist.  Licensed firearms owners can be (and often have been) an asset to the security and protection of a public area, just by being present.  This regulation removes the ability for lawful presence of private conceal carry holders with weapons to potentially be in state buildings.  Furthermore, it creates a liability against the state of Virginia by removing the ability of citizens to provide for their own defense, if needed, while often requiring those same citizens to enter the designated "gun free zones" to conduct business often required by the same entities.

Do not pass this regulation.
