Please do not make changes to the existing virginia Voter Registration Form.  These changes will alter the material omissions policies that are codified in Virginia law and that help to both prevent fraudulent voter registrations and to provide law enforcement with information they may need to prosecute registration fraud.

These regulatory changes (e.g., citizenship, and felony conflict with the Virginia Constitution) have been widely panned by the Registrar community in Virginia and they will exacerbate voter fraud.

I am an election officer and I know that, in spite of good intentions, people do slip through the cracks and vote even though they are not eligible.
