I am quite surprised and dismayed that consideration is being given to make optional the declaration of citizenship and felony conviction(s) on the voter registration application form.  How possibly can this info not be material when the law clearly states that voters must be U. S. citizens and be free of felony convictions?.  Please do not make these common sense requirements an option!
