Purpose of the meeting
There will be a Public Hearing on the Proposed Regulations for the (1) Administrative Regulations for the Virginia Occupational Safety and Health (VOSH) Program; and the (2) 16 VAC 25-73, Proposed Rule for Tree Trimming Operations. Immediately following the Public Hearing, there will be a Board meeting concerning the following regulatory matters: 1) Virginia Unique Regulation: a) Final Regulation -- 16 VAC 25-95 and 16 VAC 25-177, Medical Standards and First Aid Standards for General Industry and for the Construction Industry 2) Federal-Identical Regulations: a) Electrical Standard; Clarification; Corrections; b) Clarification of Employer Duty to Provide Personal Protective Equipment and Train Each Employee, Parts 1910 through 1926; and c) Longshoring and Marine Terminals; Vertical Tandem Lifts, Parts 1917 and 1918 3) Periodic Review of Existing Regulations
