Notice of Disposal of Certain Fill Materials

Purpose of legislation
Requires any person receiving coverage under the General Virginia Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (VPDES) Permit for Discharges of Stormwater from Construction Activates who will be transporting fill offsite to disclose to the Department of Environmental Quality (i) the source of the fill to be disposed of, (ii) the contents of the fill, and (iii) the location of the disposal. DEQ is then required to disclose this information to every locality where the fill will be disposed.
