I oppose this law.
This is unconstitutional. It's criminal that you would willfully seek to violate the 1st, 9th, and 10th amendments and then wait for ill-informed and impoverished parents to sue the courts to overturn this law AFTER the damage has been inflicted.
You know it's wrong to discriminate against a Christian, Muslim, or those of other religions who will sin before their deities if they accept or recognize all sexual behaviors/orientations. Be wise, because the tables could get turned REAL QUICK -- you don't want the right getting control and then forcing women to marry whoever impregnates them or forcing them to donate to churches against their conscience.
It's wrong to knowingly allow a child to make SERIOUS life decisions and "explorations" without the knowledge or consent of his/her parents. All rights and authority belong to parents UNLESS the parents can be proven in court to be in criminal or incompetent. I'm not sure if your intentions are to willfully separate children from their parents and make them dependent on the state or if you're trying "to do the right thing," but I implore you to look at what countries have done in similar situations and what the results were -- it was not good.
