Strongly Oppose

With over forty years in the construction industry, I strongly oppose adopting a permanent Standard for Infectious Disease Prevention. The proposed permanent standard has no specified end date and is based on a temporary health crisis for which there are now vaccines in distribution to all Virginias with well over 90% efficacy and there remains potential for many more vaccines to be available in the near short term.

The standard, if adopted Should End upon the expiration/termination of the Governor's COVID-19 State of Emergency. There is no scientific justification or need of such standard which was specifically introduced in response to the existing health crisis.
