Virginia taxpayers will see savings with telemedicine use by Medicaid patients.  Far too often Medicaid patients use the emergency room for their basic medical needs.  The ER is the most expensive portal for healthcare.  By using telemedicine, this can give them better access to their doctor and help lower the cost of Medicaid for the Commonwealth.
