As a child and adolescent clinical psychologist who specializes in gender diversity, I strongly support the proposed change. Science long ago debunked the notion that sex/gender is determined by the way one's body is contoured; it follows that changing the body through surgery should not be the criterion for deciding a person's sex/gender.
