I very strongly support updates to 12 VAC 5-550! They will help remove outdated language and help clarify the gender change process for VA birth certificates. I strongly think every Virginian should have access to identity documents that correctly depict who they are. This is very important as this will enable our people to live and work peacefully in Commonwealth without being discriminated against and without being harassed.
