When we talk about a "L'Arche Community" we are talking about a real FAMILY. This Family is close-knit and interdependent. The relationships are much more than patients /staff. All learn from each other and help all members of the family to make progress in reaching their full potential.. The L'Arche Community is built on mutual love and profound respect. Members serve each other in Christ's name. These beautiful L'Arche Families must be protected. Families live together. Please do not force these family members to be apart at night. This would deeply wound the family unit and it would become dysfunctional.
