It looks like this has become a bash fest against PETA.  The rule would create more accountability for ALL rescues/shelters.  They should be accountable and they should be required to keep accurate records that are available to the public (at the publics expense).  I abhor PETA but this affects all shelters.and it should be considered that it will bring about extra work for all.  However, when shelters accept the 501c3 status they should accept the accountability that comes with it.
