The No-Kill Advocacy Center (NKAC) is a California-based one-person organization. The organization’s director, Nathan Winograd claims that overpopulation is a “myth,” and refers to it as “the lie at the heart of the killing.” In 2013, more than 242,000 animals entered Virginia animal shelters, and in 2014 (based on currently available numbers) the figure was more than 210,000. The NKAC does not rescue, shelter, or care for any animals in California, Virginia, or anywhere else.  Yet, they're very quick to oppose those who try their best to do the most humane thing possible for these animals in need.  If you pass this, I hope you'll hold Nathan Winograd responsible for caring for the 10's of 1000's of animals his organization is leaving with no option.
