Currently mandated VA shelter record keeping consists of most of these things already. This proposed petition is not feasible on many levels, it will waste valuable time and resources that most shelters do not have in the first place. Forcing shelters to provide confidential information to the public for free is not the answer or a step in the right direction. All of the time, energy and money that will be spent on copying and handing out records could be better used to promote adoptions and educate the public.
