Records in areas where so called No Kill is the mission experience serious issues - the first being that shelters fill up and are no longer a service to the tax-paying AND, most of all, community/animals-in-need.
The mission of every shelter is to provide aid to homeless animals in need. No Kill is not in alignment with that mission. This does not mean that the mission is "to kill". Stop focusing on No Kill and start focusing on how to support shelters with deep programs in animal behavior analysis/mod, provide foster for convalescent animals, be an ambassador to those looking to adopt, ADVOCATE SPAY/NEUTER - with the goal to fix EVERY animal - and any other means of volunteering and support, A rich volunteer base and financial backing is what helps shelter to succeed in reducing euthanasia, not choking your community with misleading terms/mission of No Kill.
